Thanksgiving is a time to spend with family and friends. It is also a time to give back to those who are less fortunate. I belong to the Del Mar/Solana Beach Lions Club.http://www.e-clubhouse.org/sites/delsol/index.php For Thanksgiving, the Del Sol Lions Club Donated $500 to support a small apartment complex located in Solana Beach. I am the only one in the club who speaks Spanish, so I decided to volunteer for the project. I personally went to the apartment complex with Craig Garcia (another Lions Club member) to ask each resident what their needs were. |
